Not sure I like this, but at the same time, I would be quite happy. I mean, Gamst is one of them players who looks better on Match of the Day than he is. Then again, JD is 4th choice, and we really need a LM/LW.

i like pedersen but i don't see any reason for swapping him to Defoe would be good for either team...And beside we have Bale now who can be good on the left..so do we really need MGP? And beside 4 strikers are better than 3(just think on injuries..)

The abuse and cencor evasion on the previous page has been dealt with, thanks to the posters who brought it to our attention.
I've had to edit a couple of peoples posts who quoted the censor evasion though, rather than quote it just reporting it is far more helpful :up:

I know there's a Defoe thread (which I started) but I knew it would get more views here and more people would know about this...
My dad just told me that he's been on the phone to Gardner's agent and Defoe is in Manchester right now discussing a move with United.
I personally hope this isn't true.
