You are probably right but my point is that there is no binding rule that prevents the selling club accepting a higher offer.The reality is that every club in europe will be aware of the price. The players agent will agree terms with the players preferred club and that club will go to RBL and pay the fee. It'll all be done player side which is probably how RBL likes it.
Anyone who offered more than needed would be a total moron. This is surreal.
If you want to try and sway the deal your way you'd be better off putting any extra money into wages/agent fees!
