No, he'd be a terrible fit for the way we want to play.
Yea I don't see the rationale behind this proposed move;
- Palace commanding too much in a transfer fee
- Poor fit in Ange's system for mobile central defenders
- Non HG

This doesn't add up on any level to me.

This one doesn't make sense. He's slow and doesn't score well for winning duels. Looking at the way we play now, we need a quick strong defender who is great at winning 1 on 1 duels. Someone like van dijk would be ideal but realistically out of the guys were looking at tapsoba is the best fit by some distance.

It would be hard to convince Levy to buy him for quoted price when he has Lenglet in backup (slow CB that can pass the ball) for much less.

He'd be an atrocious signing, not because he's a bad player but because he doesn't suit the new system.

The link doesn't appear to make sense to me.

Anything around £50m is not good value and he doesn't have the attributes to fit Ange's system.

And if he's only £30m we may as well buy Van de Ven, as you say, there's just no sense to it at all.

I would certainly take Andersen, good player, good leader.

What's hard for me to get my head around is in terms of similar players (data-wise) the number 1 comparison is Tosin, haha. When you factor in that Adarabioyo is HG, 2 years younger, and in the final year of his contract then I find it hard to think we wouldn't just swoop for him.
One thing I particularly like about Andersen is despite his image as a bit of a Rolls Royce of a defender (which he is) I’ve often seen him very happy to play like an absolute bastard all game long to get the job done. He had a proper physical battle with Haaland early in the season and came off level with him and he absolutely stuffed Jesus into his pocket against Arsenal constantly up his arse making his life a misery. You could see Jesus shrink as the game went on as he began to realise it was going to be a horrible experience. I still don’t think he’s what we need for a high line but it’s another facet of his game that I think is worth considering for sure

Completely the wrong player for what we are trying to do. It would be akin to when we signed Fazio in Poch’s first season.
