If this guy is genuinely available then we would be stupid to not at least enquire. He is a serious talent and really would elevate us to title challengers. The boy has it all. Can see a pass, can dribble, can create, can finish, decent in the air and is tough. Coming from a simeone side you know he's not afraid of hard work. There would be nothing to be ashamed of being rejected by him. Hes 22 and would be the long term successor to Son (he would play now though)

Also the statement it sends out to world football can't be understated. We have the budget for it. If we are going to offer 65m for Raphinha might as well top up and splash out on this kid.

I agree, if he is actually available, and I’m not overly convinced he is, then we should ? explore the option. Would love to see what Conte could do with him.

I just wish the press would stop giving them so much credit and respect. With the amount of money they throw around and how financially corrupt these teams are doing anything but winning would be a huge failure.

The worst part is that after years of pumping money in they are approaching if not already at self sustainability. Yes there are question marks around some of their sponsorship deals, but money out vs money in isn't so imbalanced anymore.

The only “positive” to take from it is that when City win things, I couldn’t care less. Obviously on our baron drought of silverware, we’ve had to see all our rivals win various competitions. I hate seeing any of them win any trophy! So when City beat Liverpool to the title, or win the league cup, I really couldn’t care about it

He might look slight but he's a tough player.
Exactly as @THOWIG said, he gets knocked about in every game and still gets up and drives at players, and technically he's really good, very skillful.
