Came in January, played 10 or something matches. Failed? Intrigued to know why you claim he failed in such a short time at the club

I see potential. Played well for Porto. Came to a Inter team where Frank de Boer bougth him and de Boer was early on sacked and replaced by interim manager Vecchi and Spioli just a few months in. Spaletti didn't rate him and off he went to Spammers to earn a chance for Portugal for the WC. Win win

Did you see him play in the World Cup? This guy has never impressed me even back to euro 2016. All the Inter fans want him gone so bad. He was booed in the ICC game Inter played last week.

He is not what we need. But sorry mate, he is not worse than Sissoko.

I would rather have 2 Sissokos then 1 Joao Mario.

This might be the one Hercules meant when saying that one player we tried to ger would cause a meltdown.

Any player who played every game , almost every minute of Euros and won it, is worse than Sissoko ?
Come on , lets talk common sense here.

Sissoko was one France best players in that finale. So means nothing. Joao Mario was not even good during that euros.

Yet he played the full 120 minutes and won the final...
However way you can try twisting this, 25 year old Euro winner Joao Mario is far better than Sissoko. Even in his 4 months in PL for west ham, he generally played well, scoring 2 good goals in the process.

I am not saying lets buy Mario. Just find it ridiculous that he is being looked down in favour of Sissoko, who is good professional but a bang average player.

Lets agree to disagree, I rate Sissoko higher that Joao Mario.

Who wasn't even regular at west sham and they refused to buy him
Well transfermarkt says the opposite. Started 12 of his 13 games and finished most.
As for as WestHam not buying him...they have got a new manager. And new manager given money. He has different ideas.

He is a far better than player than Sissoko. I know thats a low bar.
Anyway, we need to look at even better players than both

I’m not a Football snob so my thinking is always if the management think there is a need for this or that player in the squad or team then I will support that. Whether it’s Sisokko, Mario or Rodriguez.
