It's like having Ofsted in.

Anyone notice the corridors of the Lane last night a bit cleaner than usual?

does he even have anything to do with the club really apart from owning enic, does he even care. he probably doesnt even know what a tottenham hotspur is, probably assumes he owns a small cocktail bar in north london

As far as I know, he's originally from London, and is a long-term Spurs fan. He's certainly not the disinterested shadowy figure he gets painted out to be.

I get the feeling that Joe Lewis Enic Co. are actively trying the sell the club-I have no fact to back this up so could be classed a bull S***.

Transfers, players wages, stadium politic could see them pack it in.

The man has billions and lives out in the Carribean, now I love Spurs, but if had the choice of coming to the lane or sitting on a beach with his cash I know where I would be, plus he could get the games sent via Spurs to his own iPad whilst he was sitting on the beach.

I understand he does turn up to games but he lives on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean unlike Abramovitch who lives five minutes from Stamford bridge so he doesn't come often. Also unlike Abramovitch he has a grip on reality and doesn't suffer from megalomania with a constant need to be worshiped by his minions.

he's obviously here to sell the club; we all knew that's the only reason ENIC did anything for the club, to prepare it to be sold. it lookls like they were right - we can't say they didn't warn us!

too much trouble to fly his private jet over once a fortnight to see his team play?

Oh yes, of course, because he's in London it MUST mean he's going to sell the club.

He's the boss of a huge multi-national company, Tottenham Hotspur is one of his investments. Don't you think perhaps he's coming to check out how Levy is doing and how the business is performing? The Chairman of the company I work for makes the occasional trip from New York to London, not because he wants to sell the company but because he wants to meet the board and the senior management and see how things are getting on.

Rather than being so negative, why not put another spin on things. He knows that Levy has been busting a nut to get players in this summer, maybe he's looking to give him a hand by saying "here you go Danny boy, he's £100m to increase your wage budget". Or perhaps he's here to meet with the powers responsible for the NDP and is going to say "let's make it happen at any cost".
