By the way, Pav also got a late winner against Liverpool, a great goal against Chelsea, the winning goal(s?) against Wolves, winning goals against Sunderland and Birmingham (x2), scored against Inter Milan in one of our greatest games in recent memory, and pretty much got us into a Wembley final with his goal against Burnley (even if Defoe scored in injury time), in a tournament where he scored in every round except the final.

I was a big supporter of Pav, and last season I was advocating him starting ahead of any of our other strikers. However, this season he has massively disappointed me with his complete lack of effort. If he applied himself more I'd be the first to applaud him, but I'm afraid I've lost faith in the big lug, and it's probably best for all parties involved if Spurs and Pav went their separate ways.

And besides...he's certainly no Joey James Iversen.

Got strange vibes about this thread but the dates are OK for my story.

My eldest daughter used to do the clubbing thing when she lived with me in the 1990's - one of her mates got pulled by Iversen when they were at Eros - a club on the Gt Cambridge Road in Enfield He took her mate home and enjoyed himself. His tadpoles didn't get lucky that night round though. Phew
