Wonder if Mr Jol was watching last night and proud of the lads.
Things could of been so different last year but it was not ment to be.

Ramos = Genuis/God

Jol = God/True Gent

Things can only go up from here? Players are looking 70% better in fitness and all making runs they wouldn't of done before.

Everyones praising Ramos but what about Alvarez and Gus? I'm impressed with what Marko has done with the fitness of the lads and Gus. Interviews with Gus are never boring, Jol was a master of interviews lol.

Mentioning Jol and Ramos in the same breath is risky since comparisions are not welcome :wink:

But the person who'd have enjoyed the most is the one we always forget - Chris Hughton.

It would be close between him and Gus for the most enthusiastic celebrator I think. Did you see Gus howling and punching the air with both fists behind Juande after the 3rd (maybe 4th) goal? :grin:

Ramos' tactics were spot on last night.

Noticed that whenever there defence got the ball Keano dropped on there closest midfielder, usually Gilberto. This and the pressing from the midfield meant that they struggled to get passes going. They like to build from the back and they never really got the chance.

One other thing that I noticed was the quality of JJ freekicks. 2 awesome ones balls in.

Great picture on newsnow from the mail, Juande standing celebrating Keanes goal and the Arsenal bench in the background,looking somewhat peeved.

Hughton must have been dancing but with a tear in his eye.

Jol judging from his articles in the papers is still a Spurs fan and would be doing likewise.

We can only hope that Ramos loves Spurs as much as Jol, and like Keane settles down after years of wandering (averages 1 1/2 years per club???) we need stability and long term success not just every 9 years.

My eyes have seen the glory of the cups at White Hart Lane.

I love Martin Jol and I think he deserves some credit for starting this cup run. But you can't take it away from Ramos for what he's achieved so far. For me, to see how fresh Jenas looked in the last minute when he crossed for Steed proved the big difference is fitness. While it's hard not to get carried away, you really have to belief that Ramos can bring us back to the top.

Don't worry - he'll get it. He's on a bonus if we win the Carling Cup!
