I know it's only 2 games in, but we have played Middlesboro' and Sunderland, however, panic aside what has really bothered me is how the team seems to have the same old problems it has had for the last 12 months.... and it is the same problem we see in the England team....

1. We play the best 11 inividuals and not the best TEAM
2. We keep playing players out of position

Jol did it and now Ramos is doing exactly the same, I'll give him time and am sure we'll soon get it right but we need to change this mind set

Nothing wrong with playing O'Hara in midfield to sit, tackle and work hard, Jenas alongside Modric is too weak

Bentley is best on the right..... lets play him there

Giovanni is soooo left footed..... lets play him on the left

Zokora is a DM..... lets not play him at right back

Bent can't hold up the ball.... lets not play it in the air to him

Come on Juande, sort it out, play a team with enough bite at the back and middle to let the forwards do their thing

Play players in their best positions so they know what to do instinctively

Watching spurs today was far too much like watching England

Never mind, Chelski next weekend

it really annoys me that we keep playing balls in the air to bent when he is upgainst the likes of nosworthy, huth etc they are very good in the air and no matter how good the balls we play to him are only the likes of berba and santa cruz will get on the end of them. we need to buy another striker, a dm and a cb by the end of the window otherwise we might not have a very good season.

To be fair to Zokora, when he first played right back I said I'd like to see Gunter in there instead, but he's held his own, and has looked good both going forward and defending, had he been brought to the premiership as an 18 year old, I have no doubt that he would have been converted into a right back, as the attributes are all there.

Giovani, although left footed, isn't a LW, Barca don't do that, all their teams play 4-3-3, right down to their under 11s, and without much width. the 3 up top are narrow, and it is more fluid, and he has been brought up as such.

I do, however, agree with the Bentley sentiment, give him 90 minutes on the right and see what he can do, but then I think we'd struggle with Bent alone, I would like to see Modric pushed up and Jenas alongside a holder, if Jenas has a specific role, he can be very good, and would probably be better than O'Hara at Teemu's role.

We just need to give it time to iron out the cracks, pre-season was too easy.

Like Jenas but not sure he has the discipline to simply sit infront of back 4 and altough Hudd hopefully has the potential his defensive positioning is terrible

Still would start Gio on the left with the freedom to float inside and have Bale overlap

Here's hoping for a solid, hard tackling DM by the end of the month and a striker!
