Now that Keane has gone from Sunderland anybody else reckon we should put a cheeky bid in for Kenwyne Jones?

At 24 he is still young, worked with Harry and looked pretty decent last season...

No doubt he would be a good signing for Spurs and fits our idea of buying younger players. He is talented and has prem experience.

However, as already pointed out, he just isn't really what we need at the moment.

For the right price he would be a very good signing. Is a much better target man than Pav or Bent. I think his shooting can be a bit erratic but is certainly a handful for defenders. Wouldnt want to pay much more than Sunderland did, and I cant see them selling unless its a big offer.

I rate him, but nowhere near the quality of what we already have. Plus he wouldn't offer us something different.

I would never have thought of Jones as a spurs future signing until you mentioned it, but he's a big strong powerful player and might not cost to much, so yeah why not.

I think there's a lot better out there to be honest, and he is fairly similar to Pavlyuchenko. Jones and Bent could possibly work though. Leave it to Harry.

And is shite. Marseille are doing remarkably well without the wanker.

Jones is Adebayor Lite. Get serious.

I am not saying he is an absolute superstar but he is definitely a different animal from the one that played for the Pool.I never thought I could ever rate him as a player but credit where it is due - he is a quality striker whose best position is lone striker!

i'd welcome him as signing. He's a true target man in the Emile Heskey mold but what i have seen of him - he doesn't offer that much other than his heading ability.
