Agree. This is actually my biggest problem with him is that he had a way that was getting results and for whatever reason he has abandoned. We need to revert to that

Ndombele put himself right the Mourhino way is to get rid of underperforming players . As I had said many times these players are not as bad as is being made out . Mourhino is a manager these players need a coach in charge . I refuse to believe that all these international players have seemingly overnight turned into duds . Potter took an ultra defensive Brighton / Houghton team and turned them almost overnight into a progressive attack minded side albeit with below average players. It is called coaching the likes of Mourhino manage they do not coach in the way that other progressive young managers do .
This smells of a group of players needing some guidance when all they will get is " if you dont play well you wont play " the only problem with that is our esteemed manager is running out of options .

Nice points from Jose. I get the impression he's had to work very hard to steady the ship after Sunday. Next 3 games will be very telling. Unfortunately for him he won't have Kane, Dele or Gio for those 3 games.

I'd love a win on Thursday to get us going again, I'm not one who wants him out at all costs. He has to give us something to cling too fast though because the last 3 halves of football we've played have been limp and embarrasing.

Not sure why that's relevant to be honest.

Nobody could have foreseen that Salah would go on to become what he has. Nor KDB for that matter.

As it was, Jose was at Chelsea, expected to win trophies and challenge for the league. He couldn't hang around and carry them in the hope they pull up trees.

Yep just want to see the basics on Thursday really.

Give Vinicius a chance up top with runners going beyond him, get Hojbjerg and Ndombele deep to receive and offer some sort of possession structure, and go back to a solid back four who all know their jobs.

That and a bit of desire and fight and I'll be much happier regardless of the result really.

Yes you are right these players didn’t turn into duds overnight, it’s a gradual decline since 2019, and please don’t forget that they had a progressive young manager, someone currently not here anymore because of them.

Let's hope that Sunday's debacle can be the tipping point this season for Jose. Whatever his plan was it wasn't working. Let's get back to basics and start to play some football. Top 4 is still there for the taking.
