Tough one. While I absolutely despised the football we served under both of them my current annoyance at Conte probably outweighs what I remember of the Mourinho time.
Rose tinted glasses and all that, but i remember Mourinho having an absolute shocking set of players to work with and even got a bit of a tune out of Ndombele. Neither one was backed with the players they actually wanted, but the players Conte got in are arguably better overall than Mourinho got. Yet we’ve come out of Contes reign into one of our most depressing periods since the 90s. Also Conte didn’t improve a single player. Actually now I’m really thinking about it I do think he’s an absolute charlatan.
I think you might be misremembering. We were never in blistering form under Jose. We had a couple of good weeks, I think, including the 1-6 against United which was easily his best moment for us. It unravelled in (from memory) the very next game against West Ham where we threw away a three goal lead. We had a couple of good park the bus wins against city and arsenal but that wasn’t really blistering form…We were in blistering form with Jose at one point. I thought we may actually make a challenge for the league then he reverted to type and bring the shite defensive football to our team.
Have to laugh at our fans majority happy to turf Poch out the door. Now that majority crying why club didn't contact him before Chelsea. All Conte haters on about all boring football, not too many saying that when we smashed Arsenal at home to get pole position for fourth. Fickle bunch.
Always the managers fault at Spurs isn't it.

I'm not sure what your issue is here.
I think most sensible fans thought Pochettino did a great job at Spurs, but the project ran out of steam by the end. That's not uncommon, though. Very few managers last over a few years at a club. Pochettino was one of the longest-serving managers in the league by the time we sacked him.
I also think most people thought Conte did a good job in leading us to the fourth and don't dispute that we were in very good - even excellent- form during the last two or three months of the season. Particularly from the end of Feb 22 to the end of May 22. But the wheels quickly came off, and some of the football we played this year was atrocious. In the end, we seemed to get worse the longer he was in the job.
There's nothing fickle about any of that.
