smaller players are prospering but look at the scum everyone knows they need more physicality in their team than always smash teams that try to play against them but struggle in physical battles, their last trophy winning team had Viera and Petit in cm, won nothing since personally I'd rather not emulate anyone but create our own style
We have Sandro, Dembele that are big, strong guys, I really dont feel we are lacking in that department. Whilst you raise some good points, I just dont think we should dismiss a player based on size.

Verts looks like a pretty big bastard who can put one on you too (and I don't mean a kiss)!

Our friends from Woolwich have an unbalanced squad, there is no grit or fight in them. We however have a strong backbone with all the above mentioned players but technicality is the future, agile and athletic players that will rip you apart with their passing and movement rather than players that will rip your arms off

I never dismissed him on his size alone rather that we have a glut of midgets forming a very successful U21 side and younger on the verge of breaking through and just want us to have a good balance in the team

I dont see the reasoning in your "we aint Barca though", clearly we are not, but why should we not try and emulate what they do? As for your second point, the Premier League is changing mate, every season it becomes less physical and more technical. People said Modric was too small, also look at Coutinho at Liverpool, looks a fantastic buy imo. If your good enough your big enough in my opinion.

Coutinho at Liverpool looks a great example. Not the biggest but has two good feet, good pace and decent close control. Not sure if we'd have been interested when he was available but looks like a great winger for his age and price.

Looking at the technically gifted side of things comparable to physical, i thought Lucas Moura was one of the best players on the pitch for PSG last night, excellent ability - obviously the price matched said ability but it just shows, size really doesn't matter. Messi on the other team being case and point.
