he can fuck off, everyone says he has potential but he has been shit this season and cost us goal after goal... let him go make portsmouth defense leaky tbh

metro? = unreliable...

just finding rumours to fill their pages...

I don't want Kaboul to go, I think he can play well in DM, big lad, good carrying of the ball and great dribbler!

would rather he stays but, Ramos has a much better judgement of players and their attitudes than I do, so if he says "Younes, you may leave", I will trust him... (maybe with that money we can get a proper DM in before prices soar due to The Euros)!!!!!????)

I really don't want him to go unless it's on loan. We'll regret it in the future tha's a promise.

Yeah, but quotes are different. That said there is always the quality/interpretation of journo translating that has to be considered....

did you mean to put this in the Dawson thread?

To suggest Kaboul has cost us 'goal after goal' is ludicrous and I am fairly sure should he go to Pompey or Newcastle we will live to regret selling him.

 Too true

well then mate, lets wait and see

I did last season and Daws was shit, so I did this season and he's got crappier. Slower too. Is he sponsored by Lead Diving Boots or Mafia Concrete Shoes?

Diarra rumours gathering pace?

I would take a Kaboul + £2m for Diarra

They can have Defoe for Diarra. I think his registration still lies with Spurs. (I might be wrong but there was a lot of confusion surrounding this in Feb)

You're right, apparently it does untill the window is open - but I'm pretty sure a pre-contract has already been signed and he is effectively a Pompey player

Would be a shame for Kaboul to go as i feel a lot of us can see his potential. However what he came out with last week seems to have put the final nail in his coffin. Young defenders will always make mistakes, especially in a new country, new league. we may regret getting rid

Though the guy is a complete and utter twat, it is worth watching Kaboul when Tony Gale is doing the commentary. I think Kaboul has great potential, but Tony Gale's analysis of him when he plays has really opened my eyes as to why Ramos doesn't rate him. As I said, Gale is a twat, but his deffensive analysis during games really is superb and he points out so many little things that no other commentator does. Basically Kaboul just makes the job of the other defenders so much more difficult and to be fair, given our goals against rate when he plays, this would appear to be true. Also, in the Q&A with Jol at the start of the season (available to watch on youtube), Jol actually points out a couple of Kaboul blunders that have cost us (though he did it in a nice way).

This is a BIG mistake from Ramos. or whoever is assessing our playing staff for the near future. Kaboul WILL develop into a quality CB/DM if he can stay injury free. We are moving forward....in one sense but backwards in so many other ways! This being a glaring example, I would suggest....COYS!
