Absolutely categorically no chance of this happening. None whatsoever.

Thank god for that.

Talkshite were wanking themselves silly over Bale and Kane to United last night.

"Never gonna happen" say the ITKs.
"How much?" says Daniel Levy.
"He's one of ours now" chant the United fans.

Would be amazed even by Tottenhams standards if this happened.

Story has probably been brought up to soften the blow of losing a great goalkeeper this summer!!!!!!

Not to another Premier League team it won't happen.

Otherwise we'd be seeing Modric in a Chelsea shirt.

Really didn't need any itk's to deny it.

It's perfectly obvious that there isn't the slightest chance of it happening.

If anyone, Spurs fan or otherwise, thinks that there is even the slightest chance that Daniel Levy would even think about accepting a bid from United, especially after the Berbatov debacle, then they need their head checked by a serial killer.

I would say snap their hand of for 40m but we would never re-invest it in somebody better so the 40m becomes irrelevant.

Keep him

If he DID want to leave, then he can get fucked and we will cash in. It would be a very depressing and painful day in the life of the club though. Let's not call it impossible though in terms of Harry's head turning. Where did life long Everton fan Rooney go again?

Thanks! Just an opinion.

Time will tell, however I think Kane is seriously overrated, he has had a wonderful purple patch (like Michael Ricketts, remember him, Bolton striker?) If manure offer £50m take the money and run. The EPL produces many one season wonders...hope Kane isn't one of them, but wouldn't bet against it.

Kane has already stated he wants to do a Ledley and stay. If the summer transfers workout this time he may just get CL football within the next year or two.

30 goals this seasons suggests he isn't overrated. Certainly not at the moment.

As for the money, time and time again Spurs have shown themselves incapable of replacing stars - what good is the money if the team gets worse?

He's hardly going to say no I want to leave one day. Every single footballer are out for themselves. He will want to go to utd, I'm sure of that

When it comes to big money transfers, whether you are comfortable with it or agree with it or not, by and large Levy does tend to judge (or be forced to judge) when it is the right time to extract maximum value out of a player.

Perversely, the opposite seems to be true when buying players at big money.

Neither is an exact science and there will be times when he's sold too soon and bought wisely, again, strictly speaking about big money transfers.

I'm not sure whether Harry Kane can surpass what he's done this season (or technically half a season), but he's already proved me wrong, just as Bale proved me wrong by surpassing his and our Champions League season in his final season with us.

£40-45m is still a shed load of money though. If I trusted us to reinvest it wisely I'd be inclined to sell on the balance of things, sadly I don't trust us to do that so hope he stays and has an even better season next season.

The uncle (gooner fan) of Harry's missus runs a stall at Borough Market, will see if I can get any info out of him.
