A lot of people here have never heard of Tottenham Hotspur, let alone Harry Kane.

That article is complete bullshit, the idea of Spurs touring here is to up their profile so people from Oz who dont follow the EPL can get into it.

Yup.

Football isn't followed that much either, apart from maybe Melbourne.

The most successful side, in recent years, is Brisbane Roar. They play at Suncorp, which can hold over 40,000, and they're lucky if they fill 1/4 of the ground, unless it's the Grand Final.

Rugby League freaks up here.
