He’s a young kid and it’s not like our attacking options are getting any younger. Son and Gil can play on either side of the pitch anyways, so having more cover for the attack isn’t a bad thing.

He'll be 21 soon, so it's not like he's a teenager. He needs to be playing regular football wherever he goes next, so wouldn't be the best move for him, IMO.

Thought there was some belief he could be a LWB?

Not sure about him playing LWB, he looks like an inside forward, who plays from the left rather than a 'winger'.

No reason why he shouldn't get in our team tbh.

Yes I am aware it's Hull, but just look at how he plays.

His positioning is fantastic, he's clearly both fast and strong for his height, and for a guy of 5'7" to score that many powerful headers is really quite something.

No doubt he's going to be a top player.

I totally agree, which is why signing him whilst also trying to sign Diaz wouldn't make sense because this kid needs to be playing regular football, unless we're planning on sending him out on loan for a few seasons.

Few noises that we're going back in for him with a loan back to Hull for the remainder of the season.

If we're serious about Diaz, why are we looking to buy this kid who plays in the same position? We already have Son, Bergwijn, Lucas, Gil etc...

Our squad building is really confusing.

Lucas doesn't play left wing, he plays right or center.

Bergwijn has links to going back to Ajax and Gil out on loan.

Son is 29, so a few more seasons, by the time this kid will be ready then if he is good enough we bring him in when son goes out.

He won't be a signing for now, but one for the future if he turns out as good as we hope.

Maybe we've given up on Diaz already?

Has Skriniar -> Rodon written all over it

Won’t pay up for Diaz so we’ll sign a prospect from the championship

Yep 100%, we've seen it all before. Levy won't sign off on Diaz, but will be rubbing his hands together at the prospect of signing this kid and hoping he turns into the next Bale, except, he won't.

He's right footed

I had never even heard of this guy 2 weeks
ago, just saw it was mentioned he played some LWB in the initial post. You could have told me his preferred foot was the end of his third leg and I would have believed you.

This place is ridiculous sometimes.

Someone else signs a player from the championship:
"We never sign players from the Championship like Eze or Olise and then we can't afford them when they start playing well"

Looking at a signing a player from the Championship:
"Why are we targeting this guy from the Championship? Clearly a cheaper option".

Boring.

Does it get tiring making the same pessimistic post in different threads for an entire month

Looks like he could be a good signing. His movement in the box looks instinctive which is hard to teach.

If we don't sign him I have every faith he will be at United, Liverpool or City in the next 2 years.

I like the look of him and I like these type of signing. However you could have written that in a Sessegnon transfer thread
