The good thing about this deal is that he will stay at Hull MIDSEASON, therefore his stride and form should not be broken, unlike when we signed and loaned Clarke back to Leeds, where which Leeds brought in numerous wingers pushing Clarke to the back of the queue.

This meant he lost momentum, confidence and regular playing time, when the loan back was supposedly to keep that routine and progression for him.

Also, I have noted that a few are asking what is the point of this signing as we have players in these positions.

Well, Son is almost 30 and we need a successor there.
Lucas, I don't see as a regular nor do I see him staying here beyond the summer, I think we will look to sell in the next 2 years.

That leaves Bergwijn, who, after listening to Conte, will likely become a CF if we wish to play two up top or if Kane is injured.

So, I think we may have a front five of Son, Lewis-Potter, Bergwijn, Kane & Diaz (if we can get him).

Potentially we sign another CF if Conte prefers to sell Bergwijn.

People moaned about us being interested in Jarrod Bowen. Claimed he wasn't good enough. Looks good enough now. We need to look at ready made and potential.
