Thread title of the year award............

Anyway, I just wanted to get everyone's opinion on the subject of Berbatov.

I really feel that recently Berbatov has become more and more like Robbie Keane.

Now here me out. It's not that he's playing nice back-heels, or missing penalties, or being in the right place-at the right time (and being our top scorer), but it's more like he goes down so often and flaps his arms.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I really don't remember him last season going down as often as he has in most games. And as some people have mentioned, almost like a spoilt baby, he waves his arms around.

Also if someone passes the ball a little ahead of him, or the wrong side, he'll do that 'Robbie Keane' - "you should have passed there" hand gesture. Rather than get on with it.

Or is it just me?

He does wave his arms and moan, but most of the time rightly so. I feel sorry for him when the midfield play so little invention.

Most of the time it is rightly so, but it breeds no confidence in the players (or team as a whole) if u flap arms at them.
Sometimes you just have to get on with it.

How many other players (or teams) do you see the same kind of attitude from in the premiership? (well from the teams that matter)

To be fair to Keano, he hasn't showed the same kind of dissent he used to give his teammates for a couple of seasons now. He does still go arm-waving and moaning alot but its almost all towards to referees and their assistants.

Berba on the other hand..

Great thread title!

See that bit where you say "correct me if I am wrong"? Well, that is what I am doing. He did it last year just as much as this, but now we fans are getting bitter towards him and sulking becasue we aren't doing so well. It's all a matter of perspective.

There are plenty of threads as it is discussing Berbatov. I'm sure you can gauge opinion in any one of them.
