They really are idiots aren't they, evolution certainly did pass that load of muppets by, boycott the club, yeah you go for it and pretty soon you won't have a club to boycott then you'll be forced cheer for Middlesbrough and no one wants that!

I can't see the Geordies taking to kindly to Poyet to be honest. I might be wrong but given the shit they're throwing Wise's way at the moment I don't think they'd be too chuffed at getting his best mate in. It might have more of a chance of happening when the dust settles in a couple of weeks but I'd also hope that Poyet would have the common sense to go nowhere near Newcastle at any time in the near future, especially if Ashley is still around.

Now I've thought about it I think Frank Rijkaard will probably be the next Loony Toon in the hot seat.

I'm actually a bit pissed off at him.

Isn't he the reason we didn't get Diarra? Rumour is he blocked Barton leaving which ruined our chances of Pompey letting him go. Pity he didn't quit before pulling the plug on Barton (who I'm sure is pissed at him too for wrecking a frest start on the south coast)

Edit: So has he gone or not?

Good on him in that case. Not that I think there was the slightest chance of it ever happening, but I wouldn't want that poisonous little toerag anywhere near Spurs.

Ive got a funny feeling keegans departure has a lot to do with spurs chasing a player and thus directly or indirectly effecting KK.

Its been well documented the reason he left is due to him not being able to acquire transfer targets as well as players who he had no desire to leave being made available to other clubs. Spurs were in for a "experienced striker" which fell through at the last minute, could it have been owen, the one man KK would least have wanted to see leave St. James' Park? Perhaps our bid for him was accepted by KK stopped the deal going through, the acceptance of the bid in the first place may well have been the last straw for him.

or could it have been Barton to Pompey and Diarra to spurs, something which never happened but came close to happening?

So now apparantly Keegan is demanding Wise & Jimenez are sacked and that he has full control of transfers and playing contracts. Is he mad? I think he's still living in the 70's...

I'd really love it if the club caved in to him because he's a crap manager and I'm sure is a crap accountant too.

He was only demanding what Jol and Ramos had/have at Spurs—the right of veto on signings. That isn't unreasonable, is it?

A whole shedload of stuff, I'd say.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 'experienced striker' was Owen, but Diarra? No, I think not. He's very (and unaccountably) high on many SC members' wish list, but he's a flaky little **** that we wrote off before, according to some good ITK, so why we'd be interested now I have no idea.

That toon site's bloody funny! Their club is all over the shop more than ever.

Pity we couldn't have swiped Owen just for laughs.

Maybe they can get the fat bastard Ashley to manage. Would the FA allow pints on the touchline?

HAHAH! Boycoutt! Nice work, mate. Ashley's also going to manage with his 'king kev' shirt on.

Bloody hell - imagine if they start losing game after game & slump to the bottom of the league. Toon army will start a revolution.

According to the Sun Ashley will sue KK. If the alleged clause is true and KK is in as much financial trouble over soccercircus as has been reported then he really is as dumb as a box of rocks.

But during the bitter split there was no deal struck for compensation and Ashley is now ready to sue Keegan for £2million for breach of contract — a clause the club insisted on inserting because of his history of walking away from jobs.

Never done too shabby a job at club level, though, has he? Fuck knows how, mind.

Just found this gem in Private Eye's Colemanballs.

'They [Coventry] scored with the last throw of the dice—literally'

You've just got to love the guy. What a chump!

If Ashley sues Keegan after forcing him to resign then he's gonna be the most marked man in Newcastle. He's already pissed off the fans enough and now if he tries to almost bankrupt their beloved messiah i think he's gonna find himself in a spot of bother

It was always going to end in tears. Keegan is a walker, always was. It was just a matter of how long he could take it. Barcodes have been a club in chaos for some time.

Quick prediction regarding the £2m walkout clause:

- Geordie fans make threats. Stand in street, warbling with painted bedsheets.

No dice. Chances possibly undermined by poor spelling and font choice of 'drunken child sans'.

Failed protest leaves several Geordie children now condemned to sleep under ridiculously painted bedsheets. Drunk.

- Geordie fans have idea of starting a fund to cover the £2 million.

Doesn't happen. Nothing over £20. 'Executive Fund Manager Blurk' illegally invests funds in the local cider industry.

- Ashley appeases fans by not enforcing £2 million clause on Keegan.

Inspired fan idea out of nowhere: Shearer, Shearer, Shearer to take over as chairman, manager and assistant manager, and therefore restore glory days of Keegan, Keegan, Keegan.

Gary Megson gets job.

- Geordie fans stage protest by way of singing 'Ashley Out!' like an obese, stripey version of Queen's Radio Ga Ga video. Unfortunately this causes unexpected bout of fatigue. Some report gout.

No season ticket holders 'boycoutt' games at any point.

One particular signing comes half good.

Geordies pipe-down.
