Good old transfer window. Never heard of this player two days ago and now going mental because we can't land him :ROFLMAO:

Time the season starts again. Georgiou and Oakley Boothe will be great players off the bench.

You have no clue about the reasons. Literally no clue.
True. But I do know our transfer department play the long game to our detriment, and right now with a few days until the start of the season we've signed no one.

I see the bedwetters are out in force today. Never seems to enter their mind that the player concerned had a better offer or an offer from a club in country he prefers. No must be Levy's and Spurs fault.

It seems like, more often than not, we are used by agents to either:
1. engineer their client a move to a club that pays more money, or;
2. obtain their client a new contract.

Same shit, different window. :(

Look lads this guy is a mentalist anyway - he is not far off Ballotelli crazy. Maybe it's not a bad thing we don't sign him. #everycloud

fuck it done with this transfer window and club we need to push to make something of our recent upturn but we are doing nothing of the sort.

Josh Bloody King will be the next signing at this rate awful footballer

We never tire of the old 'we nearly got him but were pipped by a bigger club'... when in reality it means we never had a hope in hell of signing him but it will appease the fans as they'll think we really tried. This often rings true as we all to often end up with some 3rd rate piece of crap.

I think A&C is talking more about the state of this thread than anything else. You lot are so volatile it's incredible.
Just 5 minutes before A&C posted that sad face I'd decided to watch a YT video of this kid.

I liked what I saw, why can't we have nice things

This isn't just to do with this deal going tits up, but I don't know how we can be 4 days from the start of the season and be in a position where our squad is actually weaker than last year, after finishing second.

It is ludicrous.

At this moment I'm so pissed off with our approach to 'strengthening' (ironic we use that word given our squad is now weaker than last year) the team.

It does enter my mind, I just think if we worked faster, especially on transfers well within our remit, these things have less chance of cropping up.

It's pointless speculating. For all we know the player has been keeping us waiting as we're not his first choice. We can't do anything about that other than wait our turn

The thing is, he's been more nailed on to go to Juventus in the press then we are linked again yesterday. We've probably been used to get them over the line.

So no pereira and no balde in the space of 12 hours. This window is getting worse by the day
