Any chance of a Juve player being let go now considering they are hoarding many attacking talents?
(I hope they all get on each others "me me me" tits ... :shifty: )

So Juventus signed Bernadeschi, Douglas Costa and now Keita Balde to join Dybala, Higuain & Co. I'd have been delighted with just one. Greedy bastards. Glad Madrid did them in the final now...

It's not just the club that needs to attract the player, the city, country and dare I say it politics plays a part too. We have the highest tax rates, Brexit and shitty weather etc..

It's immensely disappointing that management isn't prepared to twist rather than stick this year. The window isn't closed yet, I know, but it's not looking good right now and I find the short-sightedness absolutely galling considering what we could stand to lose by not investing appropriately in the team.

Until he signs for juve I will maintain hope that they suddenly realise how many wingers they've signed and decide to let other teams have a go
at this signing thing

It's really a hard morning on SC when I'm one of the positive voices. We cannot have been working on this deal/monitoring the player for a year without also identifying great alternatives. There are very interesting attacking names out there, highly obtainable and would fit into the squad. I'd be very worried about Baldé at Spurs, and don't think the latest news is such a huge set back. I just hope they move instantaneously to secure an interesting alternative.
Thank you for healing me

I think the club may need to hold off trying to make these type of signings until we can offer more enticing wages. The amount of time we spend on trying to lure these players only to be gazumped is a huge waste of resources, surely?

No. But thought the timing of his comment was interesting given last nights developments!

Would seem odd to me for poch to come out and talk about a transfer which only changed late last night in such definite terms

Makes me think he's talking about something else

I find it pathetic that people find our transfer business acceptable, and have the gall to call those who actually want transfers in before the season starts pathetic, bed wetters, meltdown artists. We have the money, we have the clout, we just don't have the balls.
Patience is a virtue, but this blind devotion to the transfer departments shenanigans is embarrassing. You don't have to react but don't defend them by belittling other more concerned posters.
This transfer isn't even the worst, no rb before the season starts now that's truly unacceptable.

To be fair no one knows what the fuck is going on. We could have already done deals with several players but for whatever reason it cannot be announced. May be at the request of the player.

Like I say. Fuck knows.

Disappointed that Balde has decided to go to Juve but what would make me even more disappointed is if Josh King really is the back up option.
