Massive apologies if this has been already covered before, but where is he?

This isn't a campaign for him to be playing, i just wondered what he has been up to.

Not in the first team, i dont recall him playing for the reserves recently, despite shining for them initially.

Must admit, i would like him to be the business. Any player with a name like that, covered in tattoos, and spends the last few minutes before coming on as a sub rolling his sleves up to reveal the guns gets my vote

Came on with about 20 minutes to go against Reading. To be fair, when he has a full game, he's shit. And when he has 20 minutes at the end of a match, he doesn't even do enough to qualify as shit. He's going to take time.

He's the only player at the club at the moment that I have written off already. I know it's a bit hasty but the guy is really really bad. I don't think he's shown any slight piece of potential that suggests he'll ever make it at THFC.

From my understanding he was voted German young player of the year so theirs definite talent also Ramos by all accounts wanted him in Spain.

Given time I reckon he'll be a good player-key word..time!

He's been rubbish every single time he's played for us, but I won't write him off until Ramos does.

I'm pretty sure this was discredited a long time ago.

I just can't see him getting anywhere near Huddlestone or O'Hara, not to mention Jenas, Zokora, Modric and any other CM we may buy.

Probably needs a pre season & a loan to somewhere else in the prem. Maybe Stoke.

I hope he can become the real deal. But when hes come on hes shown nothing. The thing is the only

good things Ive noted about him are.

Hes a phisical presence

He has a strong shot on him

He is a hard in a challange

Bad points about him

To little space for him

To long on the ball

Bit of a showboater only none of his showboating ever seems to come off

Gives needless foules/ bookings

Tendency to be invisible (Jenasesque)

Undicisive

Greedy

strange...

kaboul has been, by my watch, a lot worse and error-prone than KPB.. yet people are quick to point out his "potential". Why does KPB not get the same treatment?

I think he's crap too, just wondering lol. I think they're both shyte..

the thing is Kaboul has proved his potential, he goes forward well is one of are best tackelers and is a real presence. and scores imprtant goals, good at his head

But his probs are he makes to many errors. His positional sence is dredfull, his delivery is poor

I think kaboul has made some bad errors due to his adjusting of the speed of the game, but he's also shown very good aspects aswell. Kaboul has arguably had more pressure on him than Boateng, as the former was chucked in at the deep end due to injuries & he had a confidence-zapped Dawson next to him for company.

Boateng however just seems to do all the basics badly. I haven't seen him do one thing that makes me think "you know what, there's something there". Much the opposite of our conversation earlier about Taarabt, he clearly has something there, Boateng I'm afraid, has shown nothing, not even against the dominating midfields of Derby and Anorthosis.

He is still young, give the boy time, i mean you dont win best young player in germany 2 years in a row and not be a decent player. When he was bought it was even said that we wouldnt see much of him this season, he is a player for the future, and even though that was under Jol i still believe Ramos feels the same about him as he was interested in buying KPB when manager of Seville.

i disagree Kaboul can tackle. His best points is his shot and surging runs.. Hardly the best qualities for a CB.
