I think you will find he is are best tackler in are squad statisticaly, bar King who dosent count because he has played such a small amount of games!

I posted in another thread the other day, if he's in position, not much gets past him.

'If he's in position' being the key phrase, of course.

But back to topic, the point's been made several times, whilst it's possible to see the potential in Kaboul and Taarabt, you can't really say the same of KPB. There's no obviously outstanding gift. He wouldn't make 'Heroes'. His performances have ranged from OK-ish to bloody awful.

Nevertheless, I certainly won't write him off. Yes, the 'Best Young Player in Germany' award is a nonsense, and I suspect that a lot of SC members haven't taken advantage of Setanta's screening of Bundesliga games this season—it really isn't the league it once was, or anything like. But despite the general shitness, there are some quality players, as there are in Ligue 1. The trick is, picking them.

I think his problem is that he needs a change in career - he would be far more successful if he gave up football and took up male modelling!

I like him. Would like us to keep him because he has a great engine, good personal skills and is very hard to shift off the ball. Keeps the ball quite well aswell if we could only teach him not to try and kill people when he plays..

strange...

kaboul has been, by my watch, a lot worse and error-prone than KPB.. yet people are quick to point out his "potential". Why does KPB not get the same treatment?

Goals, dear boy. Goals. Makes you cringe, doesn't it.

Anyway, I have full belief that I've seen more than anyone else on here of KPB having seen every minute of that U20 Tourny last summer where he was easily the best player on display. Bloody marvelous in tackling and creatvity. Based on that, we got a snip.

He's had a couple of knocks and with 4 million other midfielders its been a bit tough for him. Having said that, I struggle at times to believe he is the same player I watched last summer. Could definitely do with a tough pre-season and hopefully a good loan from September-January.
