His club are playing a friendly against Shanghai Shenua right now. Can’t find any confirmation that’s he’s playing though. Any better sleuths than me that wanna take a look?

how do we not have this answer yet? C’mon team.

We literally had quotes from his previous club's owner, him being a backup is just a guesswork and speculation.

Don’t want to get into a deep discussion about this on this thread but all those quotes prove is that a deal was there to be agreed for Fernandes if Spurs had really wanted it.

I have a really funny joke but can't post cos it might be interpreted as racist. When its clearly not.
Needless to say, it was hilarious.

Tottenham not in for Kim-min Jae

Standard Sport understands there is no truth in reports linking Kim-min Jae with a move to Spurs.

There have been reports (12.34) in Korean media that the 23-year-old is jetting in for Tottenham talks.

And from Alasdair:
football.london understands that Tottenham have made serious enquiries with Chinese Super League side Beijing Goan for the 6ft 3ins defender, nicknamed 'Monster' due to his height and physical power.

Alternatively,

football.london understands that Tottenham have made serious enquiries with Chinese Super League side Beijing Goan for the 6ft 3ins defender, nicknamed 'Monster' due to his height and physical power.

While negotiations are not believed to be quite as advanced as some reports are claiming, with the Chinese club keen to hold on to the defender, Tottenham are believe to be keen to get the deal done as soon as possible when the transfer window opens at the end of this month.

I believe Trix said there was something in this link before.

Weird that Evening Standard and Football.London have differing info, they always seem be on the same page (usually I thought their info came direct from the club).

Looks like it's not from Dan KP but someone else from Standard, maybe that's why

Worth noting that AG, Dan KP etc who ususally get their info from the club have been left in the dark in the past over certain deals the club did quite rapidly, most notably the Son and Sanchez caught them off guard.

He might end up being awful but i'm fairly pleased with this. All three of Toby, Dier and Sanchez have improved of late and i'm sure Tanganga will continue to push on so this is maybe a risk worth taking. It makes sense to spend more cash in areas of greater priority. For me CB was always 3rd priority at the very most.

At this point, he should be considered high-upside depth. Nothing wrong with that. If we can secure Europa League next season, it could be a great opportunity to bring him along slowly.
