Knock on effects could last several years

First off, I need to state that I am not a typical doom monger and I post this in good faith. Indeed, I have been trying to remain optimistic and I really don't believe for one second that we will be relegated.

However, there is no doubting now that Spurs are a club in crisis. Not just with results but with all the media speculation. I have no doubt that Ramos will go soon enough (wrongly IMO). Commoli is under fire from all directions, as is Levy (rightly IMO). Speculation of foreign buyers coming to town (can't see it when we are where we are).

My big worry is that we will not qualify for European football next season. The league looks doubtful. Liverpool next in the CC. Struggling to beat Wisla in the UEFA Cup and going into a group with stiffer opposition.

If we fail to qualify for Europe then we will struggle to bring in decent players. Ramos has huge respect in Europe. If he goes that, again, will make it more difficult to attract decent players. If our league position remains the same until January, we will struggle to attract decent players. Nobody wants to come to a club in crisis.

Ultimately what I am saying is that the knock on effects of what is happening at our club could well take several years to rectify:cry:

When Jol was sacked I said it would put us back two years, that being the time I assumed it would take Ramos as a top manager to rebuild. Unfortunately he decided to try and rebuild overnight. Two years is now looking very optimistic.

Yes, Eddie Bailey, Ramos is trying to rebuild, as was Jol, but Levy and Commolli simply do not bring in the players that were requested and because of Levy's huge ego in the transfer market, where he always needs to try and put one over his opponent, we'll never get the players Ramos needs.

For Spurs to move forward we need Enic and Levy to leave now.

This will definitely put us back. We may even go down a division, but players will always want to sign for Spurs and that will never change. It helps to have European football, but it's not everything. Our tradition, our fan base, our location, the kudos etc.. mean that Tottenham is a very attractive club.
