I hope he comes back fully healthy but he is nothing special. A squad player. Not going to transform us in to top four material.
How is our first choice right back ever a squad player?I hope he comes back fully healthy but he is nothing special. A squad player. Not going to transform us in to top four material.
Also the present R.B's Spurs have been starting are not even at the level of "squad players"really; so the likes of Walker represent a real step-up.Effective full-backs who push up were one of the important elements of Poch's Soton team so I think somebody like Walker will actually make a big difference. Think you're doing him a dis-service there to be honest.
A typical Spurs supporter reactionI hope he comes back fully healthy but he is nothing special. A squad player. Not going to transform us in to top four material.

A pointlessly mean-spirited comment. Whether or not they transform us into top four material I don't know, but he and Yedlin will make a difference to our attack.I hope he comes back fully healthy but he is nothing special. A squad player. Not going to transform us in to top four material.

Let's hope he's fully on the mend. An injury like this can leave a mark mentally too, hopefully he's not too cautious when he's back.
Funny enough with him in the team we managed to two top 4 finishes in the last 5 seasons. He was injured for a large chunk last season so you could say 2 of the last 4 he has played in fully. A vital part of our team and system, Naughton and Dier have done ok but Walker is a massive step up.
