I wouldn't mind to be honest, seeing as it looks like Fredricks could become a very good player and also looks to have a better vision and final ball than Walker, which is one of Walkers major weaknesses.
crikey you must be a professional scout to have reached that conclusion from ONE match (against a pub team if i remember correctly).

I am just saying he looks to be a very good player and I would like to see more of him. Seeing as I used the words could and looks... At which point in the English dictionary does it say definite, it doesn't.

I am also not saying we should sell Walker, I am just saying I wouldn't mind if that did happen.

Seriously :(

Walker's been one of our best players this season. A lot of morons in our ranks like to slag him off, but he's still only 23 years old. He's nowhere near his theoretical prime yet.

I actually think a lot of Walker's problem is his eagerness and tenacity. Arsenal at the weekend was a great example of this. He was too eager to help Dawson cut out Gnabry in the centre (a fight Dawson was losing), believing in himself to get that he left Cazorla open. Now that's both commendable and a bit naive at the same time. On other occasions, he'll cut the ball out, this time however, he wasn't so lucky. His biggest problem is concentration and decision making. Something which at the age of 23, you can't really punish him for. If he's 28 years old and still making those mistakes, fair enough. But he's not, he's still a prospect really. Much like Lamela and Eriksen, players with big names already, can't expect everyone to pull a Bale and become a world class superstar in 2/3 seasons out of the blue. Most reach their potential over time.

As we've seen with our difficulties finding a LB, it's hard to come by a good fullback. Walker has been one of our most consistent performers this season and his pace alone makes him a good asset. I don't think that we have any intention of selling him.

he can easily become 50mio+ player in few years so selling him now even for "defenders-world-record" price (~40mio) would be really bad decision.

I think Vertonghen could go for that, but Walker? No chance.

Not sure about that price, but I am certain he will be the next Spurs player for whom we will have to fend off bids from megaclubs. He has improved so much since the end of last season and looks to me like the fastest defender in the league.

He reminds of Bale the way he can still be running at top speed at the end of a game. Amazing physical strength.

Can't see this happening but can see Monaco getting some Bosmans in:

If either of these big-spenders are actually interested then we should pursue it on the basis that he's a decent enough RB but by no means 'top class', and we'd get a lot of dolla for him.

I love how all of those singing his praises cite his workrate, stamina and speed for reasons to keep him at all costs, but neglect to comment on his actual defensive abilities. He's a defender, not a bloody decathlete.

How many goals do the opposition score from his side of the field ? He may not be the best defensive right back in the world but he is good enough particularly when you add in the work he gets through when attacking. Interesting how every week the opposition are continually attacking the left side of our defence and not the right side.

A modern full/wing back is more than just a defender, which is one of the reasons his athleticism is so important and why the level of said athleticism makes him so valuable.

Good enough for what? This is my point...he's not a bad RB, but certainly not great, so if the cash-happy bids come in then selling would be a decent option.
