Bayern Munich are not going to smash their transfer record on a 27-year old Right-Back.

Yeah, unlikely. They might be interested, though. If they are we could potentially do a deal between £20m-£30m.

I imagine you would've sold Modric to Chelsea as well?

Walker is no Modric, and City aren't Chelsea. But most importantly, we have a much stronger team, as a whole, than we had back then. I truly believe that the team right now is greater than the sum of its parts, and selling a great, but not essential, player is a shrewd way of raising funds to strengthen in other areas.

For 20m i would rather keep an unhappy Walker than sell him on, no matter the club. A replacement is going to cost about that, anyway.

What do you mean when you say city are no Chelsea?

Walker is no Modric but he's been the best RB in the league for the last 2 seasons so I don't really know what you mean by that, either. At the end of the day you're saying you'd rather sell the best RB in the league to a direct rival than to a foreign club for less money which is crazy, imo.

If we sell to City, we take them to the cleaners or he stays put.

That would be my position, and I'd be pretty damn confident that Levy will take that position too.

£50m minimum from them.

He could very easily squash the rumours if he had no intention of moving as could the club if we had no interest in selling.

I don't think it's a secret that he wants out or at least open to move and a big pay day.

Having said that, selling him to City for £40m would be a very un Levy transfer.

I don't know why but Ive got a bad feeling he's going to accept an offer at about this level. I suspect it will depend a little if Poch wants it done ASAP. With previous managers Levy would have just pissed about all window but maybe with Poch he might just do what the manager wants.

I just hope Levy does his usual thing of squeezing every penny out of City.

It will be a massive mistake, and will send out a signal that we are a selling club. It will be very depressing.

Makes no sense to me arguing over whether Walker should be sold to PL or non-PL clubs. Once sold, he will never again look as good as he played for us under Pochettino. We should sell to the highest bidder.

£50m wasn't it, or was it £40m?

We then sold to RM for £30m
It was neither, it was £22 million twelve of which was Kalou they then added six million to that deal and just as a big fuck you claimed they offered forty including Kalou on the last day.
