If this lad signs, Sessegson, Bergwijn and Moura can’t all be staying.

sess is a left wingback, Moura plays on the right and bergwjn plays anywhere across the front 3 attacking mf positions So I can’t see why any of them would go tbh

I know absolutely nothing about Bryan Gil (apart from some Youtube clips from today), but I also knew nothing about Jadon Sancho when he went to Germany. Hopefully this is a similar situation that we're on the right side of.

But with the addition of Gil and a replacement for Vinicius, added Dele and Scarlett looking for opportunities, I think they’ll sell more than just Lamela.

I'll never get the Lamela fandom but wish him well if this goes through and perhaps he'll be better suited to the Spanish league. He certainly seemed more suited to the Italian one than he showed with us. He's been bang average and an example of us holding on to players for too long who simply aren't growing or contributing enough.

It seems like activity is ramping up a bit, which is very welcome. We've need some turnover for a couple of seasons and it would be good to see some of these mooted moves come to fruition.

Sad to see Erik go

but I'm actually getting quite excited
the way things are shaping up.

I've just wished Lamela all the best on Twitter. What a player. Some will say the minimum a player can do is offer 100 percent each match, but how many actually do it, especially when the match is going against you?? So mentally strong. Never say die. He was a lion in a team of sheep. He will be missed.

When I think of Lamela I think of the following..
Rabonas
Great effort
Spurs bench
Spurs injury table
Yellow cards

Absolutely love the guy though.
I think of:
Hardest working player in the squad
Pressed like crazy high up the pitch & made our entire frontline press with more intensity
A key player during our peak seasons under Poch (our high-press style of play was always less effective when he wasn't on the pitch)
One of the highest assist rates in the league when fully fit (despite everyone saying he never passes!)

Having people say farewell to you before your departure is confirmed could be taken the wrong way :p
