Come on...own up!

Which Douchbag's were against getting Di Maria when Bale went to Madrid?

I wanted him at the time but after his 80 or so misplaced passes in the Argentina vs Switzerland game at the World Cup I thought we had dodged a bullet despite his injury time winner. Does that count?

I cant imagine any manager gave him that remit, "Hey Andros, any chance when you get near the goal you just kick it out the ground?" "No problem boss!".

You sir have just made me cry with laughter. Well done that man!

Also helps when you have a manager like Rodgers, who works great with wingers and AM's
Routledge: 17 Starts, 7 assists and 1 goals
Sinclair: 35 starts, 5 assists and 8 goals
Dyer: 30 starts, 2 assists and 6 goals
Sigurdsson: 17 starts, 5 assists and 8 goals

Other than Dyer, those are career high stats for those players

He's working his magic already, Townsend got an assist with his first touch of the ball last Sunday.

Any examples you can think of?
I did a thread about a year ago along the lines "Admit where you were wrong" where I conceded that I was wrong about a player. I was really surprised at the response where others owned up about being wrong about various players. So I don't believe it as bad as all that.
People do see things from a different perspective. If they have a different view from yours just accept it. In your scenario if these people genuinely thought Modric (and now Lamela) was not that good, why expect them to admit to being wrong, when in their hearts they think they are right?

I started a similar thread a while back. I can certainly think of players at Spurs I was very keen on that failed to live up to their potential (Rebrov, Kevin Prince Boateng, Chris Day ) but i'm struggling to think of one I thought was crap
who proved me wrong, so if Paulinho comes good you can shove this post back down my throat.

@Coco_Lamela: "It was special, but it’s just one goal and I will keep my feet on the ground."

Keeping working hard, lad!!

Still waiting ....

For what?

BBC report;

''Mauricio Pochettino will find the result hard to take after his men, inspired by impressive midfield duo Eriksen and Erik Lamela, dominated proceedings.''

''With Spurs still in the ascendency Lamela, at times unplayable, hit the bar from distance.''

People willing our very talented players to fail, despite evidencing great ability already this season, just to fulfill an agenda is quite frankly fucking disgusting in regards to supporting Spurs. Well thought out, constructive criticism is one thing, anybody will welcome a sensible critique but with some supporters I just wish they piss off if all you want to do is ridiculously try and fulfill an agenda.

Mugs.

played realy well today.

Do still think he tries to over run it still when a pass could get him out of trouble, but looking much better this season.
Good to see him getting back and putting the work in at the back at times as well.

He'll grow out of that. He's got a lot of baggage to drop from the moaners who kept/keep slapping him in his face with his 30mil price tag.

Once he relaxes into his game more instead of trying to show everyone why he's worth that much...he''ll show everyone why he's worth that much.

Still waiting ....

... for Lamela to insert the ball into his rectum and then fart it in from 30 yards?
... for Lamela to successfully lobby for the renaming of the Premier League into Erik Lamela?
... for Lamela to swim faster than a shark?
... for Lamela to get a tattoo of his own face on his own face?
... for Lamela to be reincarnated as one of A&C's turds and be blamed on the dog?
... for Lamela to shank one in off his shin and take his shirt off in celebration, revealing Kuato, his mutant brother conjoined to his belly who subsequently reads Francis Gibb's mind, which turns out to be an infinite corridor of doors, each one locked and with a sign saying 'Gone Fishin' stuck on it?
