Erik Lamela’s Argentina taking on Brazil on neutral territory in Beijing.
So a knackered Lamela the following weekend I'd suggest

On the plus side, hopefully a knackered Aguero and Zabaleta. Add in Ya Ya coming back from Africa and that's arguably their 3 best players not at their peak!!

Great to see Lamela starting alongside Di Maria, Aguero, Messi, and Mascherano. You don't start in a game like this with a manager like Tata Martino unless you are an incredibly high level footballer. Hopefully he has a stand out performance so the non-sense spouted about him not being good enough for us in the past completely evaporates.

Lamela looking very good so far. Completed virtually every pass, pressing hard, and just played an awesome back heel that nearly led to a Di Maria goal.

I thought he played well before getting the hook, although according to the co-commentator whoever it may be thought he was poor. What I would say is that it's very difficult to stand out when you're on the same pitch as Messi, Neymar, Di Maria and Aguero.

Agreed. Standard lazy commentary, to be honest. He's "looking for form after a bad time last season", apparently...

On the bench today for their match against Hong Kong, doubt he will make it on. Although its a shame as he would probably have run circles around Hong Kong at least he will be fresh for Saturday.

Would much rather he sat this one out to be honest. Let Aguero and Zabaleta knacker themselves out

Aguero and Zabaleta are also on the bench along with Messi, Di Maria and Rojo, essentially everyone who hasn't had a chance thus far for Tato are being given a shot, players like Gaitan, Pastore and Banega.

Rubbish. I hope they miss their flight back to the UK.

Not Lamela, obviously.
