Anyone going to the Bournemouth game tomorrow? My last game at the lane before we move into the new place.
Might be nice to grab a couple drinks in the no.8 before or after the game, my brother and I always loiter in the pub on match days so if any of you are around it would be cool to say some hello's!

Coming down from the Wirral with my eldest. Going to the pub before and maybe after if we win. Going to be a bit emotional for me, been going to the Lane since 1975.

Sorry, missed you.
Great day though and brilliant send off to the grand old place. Little tear from me as I looked up to the Shelf from the Paxton on the way out remembering the great and horrific times spent up there. My first real season was the relegation 76/77 season and from the worst of all teams we are now simply the very best. It's only taken 40 years!!!!
Sing up all those going over the next few weeks, these are the days.

I read somewhere that there is a possibility that the final PL2 game of the season, against Leicester 4th May, may have the attendance cap lifted so as to have it as a farewell to WHL game, always assuming that the move to Wembley next season is confirmed.

My last game at the Lane yesterday as well. Not a bad way to go out, but hard to believe that's it. It's been part of my life for 37 years, and I've experienced every emotion there, from absolute despair to mild disappointment.

My three games this season have ended 5-0, 5-0 and 4-3. A decent send-off.
But it puts a bit of a downer on my upcoming holiday that for our (probably) last ever game at the ground I'm going to have to find an internet café somewhere in Cuzco, Peru. I messed up the dates completely when I booked the trip.

Here's a little piece of meaningless trivia for you. When Man Utd vist Spurs for the last ever game at WHL, they'll be returning a favour. Because when Man Utd moved to Old Trafford in January 1910, Spurs were the final visitors to their old Clayton Ground.
