Simple enough thread. When was the last time we won a League game at Anfield?

the lge cup one was massive - i thought we're out when the draw was made

but we weren't and luckily it was 'live on sky'

that season we beat pool and man u to reach the final - quality stuff :)

and I was there at wembley to see us finish it off - 10 men we only had 10 men :)

our best performance at anfield in my lifetime was the quarter final win there in 95 - supreme goals from Teddy and jurgen

just in 99 we had a footballer of the year that season - unfortunately we didn't finish that job off grrrrrrr

everton were just too strong

It seems like they're strongly aiming to keep a clean sheet for Reina to claim the record alongside VDS, and to further increase their PL record points total.

Scoring will be an achievement. They've scored 8 without reply in their last 3 games. In their last 5 league home games only Arsenal have scored there(admittedly 4 times but they were desperately chasing United).

Yeah and we look toothless in attack. Hope Benty is back, he is fucking lethal away from home.

hate to sound pessimistic but I cannot see us winning this and infact feel a draw would be an excellent result.

It should be a good game of football. Hopefully we'll be going for it from the off, with the push for 7th. Liverpool are quite a good footballing side too, so should be a good watch. My uncle who is a Liverpool fan and he'll be up next week so would be nice to get a win.

Robbie to score another late minute penalty to get Spurs a win, Chelsea to win 6-0 sending 'Pool to 3rd and Fulham choke it against Everton. I would just love it to happen...I WOULD JUST LOVE IT!

Agreed, and I saw the Crooksie goal in 85, but the 95 PERFORMANCE was superb...Jurgen's goal was excellent, but that goal from Tedy was a thing of beauty; a finish of supreme excellent, what bend there was on that shot, and what a set-up...

Remember not being able to watch the last few minutes of that game, the nerves and the tension!

Two top goals we scored that day.
