I'd start the normal XI but try to get GKN, Edwards and Janssen each on for 20-30 min/match.

For what its worth: 86 points would be the joint-2nd highest points total for a runner up. 84 would be joint-5th.

In fact 86 points was enough to win the PL in 10 out of 22 seasons since there were 20 teams (including this one).

I think if we could achieve this it would further cement our position as a team that could genuinely win a PL title.

If he's off is there any point? Not like we don't know what he can do. Better to see how trippier performs

Have you decide he is off?
Didnt think anything was finalised, or close to being so?!

I'll play it like a friendly.

I'll give Kane, Eriksen and Alli around 50 to 60 mins.

Will start Toby + Wimmer in one game, Jan + Wimmer in the other. With Dier at CB.

Walker and trips both will have a game each, same with Son and Dembele.

Janssen will come on for Kane vs LC, I would throw both Janssen and Kane vs Hull

Frankly... I might even try something out of the box and play Trips on the left. Might be interesting. Memories of Lee YP, a right footer on the left.

Definitely keep pushing.

If we get mullered in our last two games, against cack useless Leicester and relegated Hull, the talk of us being legends who can't see out a season starts anew and affects the squad mentality heading into what's going to be a critical summer break before we move to Wembley.

And anyway I want to see Leicester get absolutely destroyed, which is all that matters.

Lloris at CB, and one of Verts/Toby in goal with strict instructions to wait until Hugo is tightly marked before firing the ball to him - see how he likes it.

I'm sure Pochettino will ensure we are focused on winning these 2 games so will field a strong team. I think we'll go full strength on Thursday since it's the tougher game and make changes in the final match.

It could either be a very uneventful 2 games or they could be very good with the players relaxed and a chance to express themselves.

There is nothing to rest players for, what would be the point? We aren't in a European final, there is no international tournament where we might do the player/national team a favour. With the young prospects either away (CCV, Onomah, KWP) or injured (Winks, apparently Edwards also) there aren't really any players I'd like to see given opportunities. Strong team, and challenge them to keep a professional mindset and storm through the finish line.

I really want to see Janssen, Nkoudou and even Sissoko starting or given at least half an hour to prove themselves. Of ourse only if we haven't given up already on a player but with a view on next season.
Kane should start both games though as he has a slim chance to catch Lukaku.
Otherwise strongest team possible.

Momentum. Keep it going.

The youngsters I'd be interested in giving game time are away and the Squad have the whole summer off.

End on a high and lets head to Wembley next season having with having won 36 out of the last possible 39 points available.

Oh and I want to stick it to Leicester.

Fuck the golden boot, the TEAM is FAR MORE IMPORTANT than any individual honours. Janssen needs to play, we may have to rely on him at some point next season, the more time he gets now the better,. He should start the last two games.

I think Kane would like as many playing minutes as possible to try and wrest the Golden boot from lukaku.

Go tell that to Kane and possibly Alli (who needs 3 more league goals to get 20 for the season).

I think we should give our top prospects a match - KWP, CCV, and Onomah should start...oh wait, they are not here.

Nothing to rest them for no but also no reason to run them into the ground.

I think you're right that we'll play a strong team but I think if anyone is on the red line then there's no point playing them at this stage.

So I wouldn't rush Rose back for example and players like Eriksen and Dele who have played a lot of games and run a lot of metres should be managed carefully. Dembele is another one who shouldn't necessarily be risked due to his injury record.

But to be honest the players look pretty fit at the moment so I hope we still see a strong team and win the last two games.
