I don't object to it TBH. At least he's man enough to admit and keen to join. I wouldn't doubt his motivation one bit when he is playing, for someone so objective-oriented.

i think there contract offer will be key in this, if they offer him big wages then they are telling them they want to keep him and value him,
if they offer a modest increase then it seems pretty obvious he will turn it down then with his contract running down they will say they are forced to sell to keep the fans onside but really it would be that they want to sell to help with their financial situation.

Inter won't sell all their star players just because they are in a financial mess.
Italian clubs are in a mess for ages and they somehow deal with it. They already sold Hakimi and Lukaku. Think our chances are well below 10% here.

Lukaku was on (apparently) £145k p/w. I don't think they will/can offer him more than that? Even if they double his wage he'd be on less than 100k p/w

They have to cut their wage bill by 15-20%. Dzeko wages were more at Roma than Lukaku's were, so if they're bringing Dzeko in I imagine it's similar wages to Lukaku's. They can't afford to pay Lautaro what we can.

Kanes agent didnt come up with quotes he wants to stay and extend his contract and is happy here. Guess there is a slight difference.

im not sure what he earns i saw it speculated it was 40k ish a week, i think his agent will be looking at about that lukaku wage though especially if our offer would be that or higher.

No he didn't. But you don't know which club is controlling the agent here - and which deal is more beneficial to his back pocket (new deal vs transfer).
Number of things at play. All it goes to show is that "something is going on with him". I don't think we can be any more or less certain than that. Same with any rumour.
