Over the last 15 games... we have picked up 31 points.

Thats 2.07 points per game.

If you extrapolate that over the next 12 games, i.e. if we get 2.07 in all our remaining games... we will finish with 72 points.

If you do that with all the teams around us, i.e. calculate their average points gained over the last 15 games, the table will look like this at the end of the season:

1. United have got 34 points in their last 15. Thats 2.27/game. And they finish with 84 points.
2. Arsenal have got 33 points in their last 15. Thats 2.2/game. And they finish with 79 points.
3. Tottenham have got 31 points in their last 15. Thats 2.07/game. And we finish with 72 points.
4. Man City have got 28 points in their last 15. Thats 1.87/game. And they finish with 70 points.
5. Chelsea have got just 19 points in their last 15! Thats 1.27/game. IF their poor form continues, they will finish with 61 points.

We have been very very good this season, contrary to the doom and gloom.

Look up, not down! COYS!!!

Very interesting and when you take into account how strong we have been in the second half of the season for last 4 or 5 years we may even lift that average a little more.

We could potentially win the next 5 league games which would give us 15 more points with 7 left play!

72 points will take fourth.....it'll be a superhuman effort by our lads if we end up with that total though I feel.

Lately we have certainly not been very good.

BUT we have still been winning games and picking up points even so. This is a very good sign. On of our weakest traits was the mentality of the team. It looks likes this has changed/is changing.

So I kind of agree.

The only thing we are missing is goals from our stikers, which is what is letting us down.

Add 15-20 goals to our goal difference which is what eveyone else's strikers have and we would be in a much healthier position.

Interesting, I think Chelsea will do quite a bit better than that though come the end of the season.
