CHECK THIS OUT...

The thoroughly nice chap who runs the football:matters website has taken the liberty of compiling all of Lawro's prediction into a league format allowing us to compare it with the standings in the offical Barclays Premier League. It makes for rather interesting reading.

That stupid p**** has got tottenham, not pushing for third as they are in the real-life league, but coming 8th!! EIGHTH!!!

Not only that but the retarded little runt has got Liverpool coming fourth.

Also, Chelsea have amassed a total of 104 points, averaging 2.74 per game!!! Almost 20 more points that they look like they are going to finish with.

This is proof, if any was needed (which it wasn't), that he is a scouse bumming, Chelsea rimming, spurs hating pile of batty gravy!

I thought this should go in a seperate thread to the weekly Lawro prediction thread but if you strongly disagree then please do the necessary.

Look where he has Fulham and Birmingham too.

To be fair to him, he's only 5 points off what we're on so far, which isn't too bad. And I imagine if Everton had been good at the start of the season. they'd be close to what he has there.

Liverpool in 4th with that amount of points is a joke though.

To be fair, he's only 5 points off our points total.

Its just the fact that he always completely overstates the top 4. Chelsea on 104? like fuck was that every going to happen.

4th placed on 80 points? rubbish.

But when you're doing these things week by week it's tough.

To be fair, he only has our points total wrong by five as it stands but hopefuly eight come Sunday night. He's just massively over rated all those above us, I actualy laughed out loud when I saw Chelsea!

I think he had Chelsea down as unbeaten all season, missed the last few weeks predictions so it may have changed.

Anyway, who cares what he says, he's just another opinion, no more or less valid than any other football fan.

Edit : To be fair.

To be fair when I do the BBC predictor match by match I get things horrifically wrong. I rarely bet against Chelsea or Man Utd and they have ridiculous points totals at the end and I always accidentally put one or two mid-table teams as drawing and losing all the time.

To be fair, "to be fair" is the most fitting phrase for this situation so it's no surprise that we all used it...to be fair.

He did get our points reasonably accurate, true - but look at the standing 8th! He must have completley overstated the top 7 to have us there!

... and by overstating everyone else except Tottenham, he is a Spurs hater.

Yes - Lawro is hopeless at predicting the future. What a plonker to be fair.

To be fair, he just plays it safe. Team above another, pick that team. Easy win, go 2-0. Not as sure, go 2-1 or 1-0. So by this logic he will have backed Chelsea against anyone but the old sky 4 away from home.

He’s not completely rubbish. Just very boring in what he predicts and never once sticks his neck out and backs a shock.
