If I were Leandro or his agent I would be disheartened by the obvious lack of interest from other clubs despite it being clear that his price has been reduced. Why is no one chasing him at what is a significantly reduced price ?

Because by staying at inter be has somewhat halted his progress. He's now an expensive gamble who may or may not recapture his form let alone develop further. His agent and club have toyed with him and cost themselves millions.... and it serves them right.

This transfer saga is the definition of insanity. How many times is levy going to repeat this farce?

People mentioned damiao pushes for a move. How would we feel if bale did that? Maybe hes just respecting his fans who love him. Its been widely suggested his agent is behind a lot of the problems

It's all part of the game. That lowers his value. His club want the most they can get.

Even if he wants to move, it would be highly unprofessional for him to demand it and cost his club a few million.

I wonder how many pages all these Leandro threads would amount to over the length of this veritable saga.

Paul Hirst ‏@hirstclass 4h There's been a lot of talk about #Spurs transfer targets this summer. Can say for sure that Leandro Damiao isn't one of them.

Have good info that they're not trying to sign him this summer.

but good source tells me they're not after him this summer. Star faded over last few months.

Greg Stobart@gstobart

At least for now, #THFC not trying to sign Leandro Damiao this summer. Looks like it could be over, has dragged on too long.

@DannyTHFC_ Was writing a feature style report based on info from last week - subsequently told it's dead as far as Spurs concerned now

He says he still thinks we are in for Villa and Benteke is too expensive.
Started off by saying there wont be any activity this month

I reckon Spurs are putting it out there that they are not interested in LD anymore to force Inter to lower the price.

If ITK from a few days is to be believed, you could be right mate. I'm pretty sure somebody said that we had told Inter that we are fed up with waiting and have moved on to other targets, which has resulted in them (Inter) now constantly contacting the club to try & rekindle our interest. Seriously, have you seen the lad play? Is he even worth the effort we've put in? They're genuine questions by the way, as I've seen very little of him.

I don't care if we don't go for LD so long as we have other striking targets in my mind that we can push hard for. Saying that though I really think we need 2 new strikers going into next season. Is just too much of a risk to potentially only be left with Defoe and Adebayor.

If we ever actually sign Leandro then this site might actually explode. Not necessarily from happiness but just pure relief.

And then we sell him after 6 months.

Can sort of see why this has happend. We basically stole Sandro off them for 8 million, they don't want it happen again.

Apparantly if you print every link or news story about Leandro and put them end to end it will stretch around the world. Twice.

Personally i think this transfer has been dead for a long time, if we were really that keen to get him, then im sure negotiations with the relevant partys would of continued after Jan and possible the 2-3 years previous we were supposed to be negotiating, and a pre contract before the TW opened would of been put in place.

Im more than sure this is just his agent touting him to us as we have previously been interested.

Never for one moment thought we would sign him, and i stand by that...as others have said that ship sailed ages ago!
