If he had been our main target again, I'd have been furious.

But hell, after the window we've had, I see his name, laugh and say "aw hell, why the fuck not?"

I still think he looks like he could do well in the Prem. If we can get a decent price for him then I'd be happy to see us go for it. If Inter still want to mess us about we're in the perfect position to tell them to do one.

I'm probably wrong (as per usual) but I read those tweets (the translated ones) as, we've contacted internacional again & maybe even asked them to give us a fee and they've responded by saying we can have him for €25m. IF we are genuinely interested, I could see Levy having a ceiling of €20m & hoping to deal at around €18m. We're not desperate for him anymore, so they can either take what Levy is happy to pay, or they can keep the player & eventually end up with less in the future.

If it's last minute then it will be 15mill plus add ons. I can't see us paying any more if we have other options

It's a bit early to be going back for him, been fully expecting this to be Levy's deadline day deal.

Tell you what, every other time we've gone in for him he's been our main target, they've known this and tried to screw us over. After the window we've had, he's no longer a priority, plus he's seen one move collapse, so time for them is running out to cash in, just feels like the timing is right that this time it'll actually come off.
You know when you put a lowball bid in for something on eBay, just because you vaguely wanted it at some point and the price is low, so you throw a low bid in, expecting it to fail, but then you win and think, do I really want it now.

Attention to this. Damian can be sold today for Tottenham in England for 25 million euros. Today is the last day of the window.

At €25m I would expect a striker with a proven track record of scoring in a European league (unless they are some kind of wonder kid that may become one of the top 25 players of his generation).

I think €20m might be OK for a player of his reputation/hype but even then I would think thats a tad high.

Damiao must be pissed that he didn't get the transfer when the offer was on the table, very excited about our future. :)

I think it's time to forget Leandro and find a younger striker who can also play on the wing, or maybe we could use Chadli up front

Or conversely, a younger winger/wide forward who can also play as a striker? Such as Griezmann perhaps?
