I’ll admit, it would give me a sick sense of pleasure if losing to Leeds tomorrow leads to both Everton and Leicester going down, two clubs with a weird little “we’re just as big as Tottenham” complex in recent years. Well we’ve just had one of our ugliest seasons in modern history and nearly finished in Europe; enjoy Plymouth away, dickheads.
Petty and vindictive. We could be twins!

I think we’ll win today.

There I said it.
Think it could go either way, Leeds could batter us or we could put 3/4 pass Leeds. Just don’t think it’ll be a close game one way or an another.

I remember watching an Alfie Conn inspired Spurs beat the great Leeds side on the last game of the 74/75 season to avoid relegation. I wouldn't mind us returning the favour if it meant Everton and Leicester are relegated.

Oh man, let's just get this season over with already! Arsenal blew the title officially and that was the only thing I was keeping the lights on for at this stage. Now let's get Sunday done, get a new gaffer in, a new DOF and let's start clearing some of these timewasters out of the club and bringing some young, pacy and hungry players into the team. It's Leeds away on Sunday and we have a few things in common, we both have interim managers, white home kits and shit defences. The 4-3 win we had against them at the TH could well be replicated in terms of the amount of goals in this game. Leeds know that anything less than a win sees them relegated, they also know that even a win might not be enough if Everton also win or if Leicester win and Everton don't.. So a Leeds team with a shit defence forced to go on the attack against us with our shit defence means it comes down to which forwards can take most advantage of the other team's shit defending. Ordinarily I would say that means we would win as we clearly have better attackers but given how this season has gone in terms of teams we normally beat and haven't (Arsenal at home, Villa away, Newcastle away, Brentford at home, Bournemouth at home, Wolves away) it seems moot to say that we thumped this mob 4-0 last term. We are both different animals since then. I have zero confidence in us away from home any more. We haven't won outside London since October. We are trash. I think Big Sam will go for bombardment and we will wilt under the noise and pressure and lose the game, but I think there will be two lots of losers in that stadium on Sunday because I think Everton will beat Bournemouth meaning that Leeds are going down regardless. Leeds United 3 Tottenham Hotspur 2. COYS!

Alasdair Gold’s predicted starting XI:

4-2-3-1: Forster; Emerson, Sanchez, Lenglet, Davies; Bissouma, Hojbjerg; Danjuma, Kulusevski, Son; Kane.

I'm the opposite. I don't think Leeds have it in them to batter even us. But I think it'll be a close win for Leeds.

Crazy to think this could be Kane's last game for us.

I remember it well, we had to win by two clear goals as well, to show they were letting us win they
walked straight through our defence from the kick off after we went 3-0 up and again when we went 4-1 up.
I would love us to repay the favour if we hadn’t of had such a poor end to the season but then again we have nothing to play for.

Hoping for both Everton and Leicester to both get pegged back to a draw and Spurs to capitulate to a 5-2 defeat having been 2-0 up with 5 minutes to go. Scenes. Sad for Harry but massive respect to him for giving us his best.

I would rather Leeds and Everton go down. I live in Bournemouth and there has always been bad blood since the 1990 season when Leeds secured top flight football on the bank holiday weekend and thousands of their fans caused carnage in the town.
Everton have escaped relegation so often by the skin of their teeth, but still think they are one of the big six teams. About time they had a wake up call!

Whether we win or not depends on what's happening elsewhere. If Everton score a couple early the life will drain out of Elland Road and transmit to the players. They won't be fighting for survival if survival becomes impossible. As terrible as we are, I think we'll win for that reason.
