Is there a better image in football than the back of the net rippling behind the opposing keeper at full stretch?

Excellent strike by Son. Thought Sissoko saved us a couple of times covering but was wasteful on the break. Dele really feeling it but we are being forced into their 3 DMs because Davies and Aurier are just too poor with their delivery. Though Winks started to come more in the game the last 20 minutes and need him to continue that.

Son and Moura should be roasting Morgan and Evans if they get the run on them.

Would like to see us manage this now. Clam up in the middle. Full backs tight and staying back and Moura, Son, Dele trying to intercept and hit in the break. Son and Dele off if we can get another

Hope Okazaki doesn't come on. He's one of those players who is objectively pretty average, but still manages to cause you a shitload of problems despite that.

I love these Son purple patches.

Thats the thing, hes got a worldy in him but then goes missing for a month and borrows Fred West's touch. He's got ability and seems to love the club, if he could find some consistency and stop being an archetypal purple patch in/out player we'd have some player.

How much ground does sissoko cover? Just watched him chase down then follow back. Is it loads or does he do it in spells?

I love Dele but I wish he'd take a few more risks with passes and through balls in particular.
