We frequently out-foul the opposition these days. Two or three years ago that was seldom the case. For example we out-fouled Stoke by 15 to 11. That's surely a sign of a team toughening up.
Or a team that can't tackle competently. Of those 15 fouls against Stoke, Lamela conceded three of them within five minutes of being subbed on, and another was the needless foul that led to the penalty and the beginning of our collapse.

Delighted? It's not Chelsea away mate. I'd be disappointed with a draw. But I wouldn't be heartbroken. Leicester are decent. But we are better and we should win.

I'd make our chances better against Chelsea than Leicester at the moment. Only one of those teams is top of the 2015 PL and it's not Chelsea.

I appreciate your positivity but I do think it's a little arrogant to say something like "it's Leicester and we are better" - because recent evidence suggests otherwise. Equally there's no way we should be going away from home to any team bar probably Sunderland and 'expecting' to win. I don't think football is as cut and dried at the moment - there's a big shake-up in the established order (at least, the order of the also-rans, which we traditionally win) happening at the moment and we'd do well to be very wary of our opposition this season and be a little less confidence of our own traditional superiority.

All this is evidenced by the bookies making Leicester favourites and putting the odds against us getting a win. Why would anyone be expecting this current Spurs team to be beating this current Leicester team away from home?

There were rumours about Eriksen being injured and that N'Jie wouldn't be part of the squad- guess they were true.

Not arrogance mate. Leicester are good and the team need to go there and be aware that they're playing an in form team. But we're better. Simple as that. Better squad, better players. We should win this. If both teams play to their full capacity there's only one winner.

Of course not all the errors are made by the youngsters. But our tendency to panic certainly is brought on by the team as a collective being fairly inexperienced. Fortunatly, with them being so young, they tend to show very little fear. That's what the difference was last year for me against Chelsea and Arsenal. The kids went on to that field completely up for it. Harry Kane didn't give a fuck who he played, he was going to try to tear everyone a new arsehole.

We haven't got the balance right. I'd like to see an older, more experienced CM come in. We do need a leader. Scott Parker was probably the best signing Harry every made. We need a new Parker.

Yes we do but time and options might not see that happen because we are in need for sure.
I dont want to be overly critical of the club but this not having a team ready for the start of the season and struggling in games until we do so is a bit frustrating, but there we go its company policy.

Not gonna lie, that bench is absolutely awful, not much we can do about it though.
