Poch is a fraud, we should ask Saints if we can have a refund, useless sack of shit

Kane bailed him out last season but when he is not we are like fish out of water, Poch was supposed to come to us with this exciting high pressing style but under Poch we are playing as if the field was liquid treacle, slow, boring as fuck football

I can tolerate draws and defeats if we are entertaining and going down in style but this is like the Goonersaurus was back in the dugout

Levy needs to sound out Klopp and Ancelotti

... ... ... ...

Ok, time to go and do something else for a while....

I'm not trying to knock Leceister, they were decent. But we should be beating them. Just look at the amount of money we spend in comparison. It's the same reason why Chelsea, United etc. expect to beat us.

We should be beating them on most occasions. If we go one up with ten minutes to go then there's really no excuse not to be beating them. Our organisation and mentality after our goal was genuinely atrocious.

But they don't and that's why I love football

Alli did more in 20 minutes than Lame- ela has done in 3 games

Did you actually watch the game??
Alli found it tough, really tough and he realised very quickly that PL defenders give you zero space.
Apart from his goal which came through some good positioning, his performance was fleeting at best.
But i'm not going to bad-mouth him because it was a chance for him to learn and adapt, and i'm sure he'll only grow in confidence, but at this moment in time he's certainly not the saviour that many think he is!

Lamela had a solid game today, played it simple, played it clean and only gave the ball away a couple of times, and there was absolutely zero showboating, not a stepover in sight.

If you want someone to have a go at then try Vertonghen and Walker for the 1st half and Davies for the 2nd half, ok going forward but looked well out of it in defence, giving away a good few dangerous free kicks.

Yeh like Klopp is going to want to come to all managers get no money then fired Tottenham. What idiot would like working for Levy, seriously.

Levy is tighter than a virgin ducks fanny but the style of football is down to Poch and we are playing the worst football i have seen since Graham, even worse than AVB

Most of you had taken a draw beforehand... So I don't quite get the hysterics.

I'm still happy with a draw given the state of our bench.

Levy has questions to answer, fuck the apologists.

Onomah our only genuine attacking player on the bench several games in? The jokes on us big time.

It's got to a point where I laugh out of anger when I watch us play now lol honestly I do.

Same shit every fucking time. Very very slow build up/tempo that makes us look so predictable when we play, no one in midfield that really wants to to take the game and control it, defence time and time showing lack of concentration (especially
after scoring) the list goes on.....

Also Pochettino and his stubbornness really is getting to me now. I really really hope next week we see changes in the starting 11 (it's so evidently needed) but it's highly unlikely he will.

Leicester were there for the taking. A draw is not bad tbh but it's the WAY we played that makes it hard to take in. Because if we actually even played ok borderline good we would have won without a doubt.

The only positive I see from today's and the last few weeks is that we can only get better.

In desperate need of new blood and I hope maybe with todays display may make Levy and pochettino to really push through with their targets.

I sorry but AVB was the worse I have ever seen by a mile. I was at EL game played late at night and ended up looking up at the stars in the night sky, when I turned around I saw dozens of blokes doing the same as me.

Going from Redknapp to AVB was like skydiving into a physics lesson.

Very poor start to a season yet again.

A squad is yet to be assembled and that is rather embarrassing.

But poch has had all summer to work out a system for us and its the same boring crap as last year. Whilst he is slightly handicapped by a poor squad, he still cant get his defenders to defend and his attackers to attack. Pretty basic and fundamental stuff.

I find this all rather concerning. Levy maybe not backing him as he knows he is another duff appointment? I dont know. But this is all feeling remarkably Avb and Ramos all over again.

It does all seem very familiar. I've never thought pochettino was the answer and didn't want him in the first place but was willing to give him time as I thought his Southampton team played good football. But over the last year we've been woeful to watch in the majority of games. Something's got to change.

It wasn't vintage or particularly good, but it certainly wasn't dreadful- especially in the context of a high-flying/confident opposition away from home. You're normally a reasonably balanced poster today, so i'm struggling to see what turned you during this particular 90 minutes.

To be honest I'm just struggling to justify investing so much time and emotion into football in general. I can handle poor performances and/or results, but we're simply flat and uninspired.

I don't expect (or necessarily want) exciting football all the time. I could be just as happy with an efficient and clinical 1-0 win. But this lot, under this manager, have generally looked devoid of any sense of character or plan whatsoever.

7 out of 9 points dropped, and the worst thing is that it's not remotely surprising. I guess that as much as I love Spurs I've rarely enjoyed watching us play for 2-3 years now. My posts today are more of a final crescendo as I'm pretty close to just saving myself the pain and sticking to checking the results on the BBC instead.

Dude? How on earth have you come to that conclusion?

Or am I missing the point and you're just saying as in 'if you were to predict our results'?

As in we were leading in two games that we were controlling the ball in, and gave those games away-stupidly. Of course that is football, so there is no 'should' as such. But our performances even though not exciting have been better than Leicester and Stoke and we werent out played by Utd.

S

Carroll substitution really shows how bare and limited our options really are.
more like how narrow minded Poch is.. Onomah but not Njie or Pritchard or Yedlin? Come on seriously??! How match-fit or readiness is needed for a 15-20 minutes cameo for them compared to a day of intensive training?

Possession isn't performance. To have the ball doesn't matter. There's no trophy for being in possession.
