I think Timmy deserves his own thread.

“There was nothing about and there are a lot of good managers looking for work at the moment and I am certainly one of them,” he added.

“Nothing has cropped up at the moment which I feel is right for me.”

See Tim reveal more, as he opens up about his time on the Tottenham touchline, on The Fantasy Football Club on Sky Sports 1HD from 6.30pm tonight

Thread created in poor taste IMO. He took on a suicidal job when no-one else would and tried his best. Let's not forget we finished 6th where it could have been worse.

He may be as sharp as a spoon but he showed no malice towards us. Was a loyal servant for years. No need to laugh at him really.

No one else would? Really? Glenn Hoddle, David Pleat, etc.

Sherwood backstabbed Andre any chance he got and was constantly in Levy's ear. Everyone and their mothers knew it was only a matter of time before Dim got his way and Andre was sacked and he got the job. He lost it because he decided to be a prick and called out the players and the board publicly. If he maintained a good relationship with the squad and Daniel, he'd still have the job no matter how inept he was as a manager since he was able to get us to 69 points and then we'd be worse off right now. We're fortunate that he decided to be an idiot publicly. Got Daniel to fire him and hire an actual manager. He's a snake. Nothing more to it. Loyal servant, my foot. Showed no malice toward us, my ass. He did a poor job finding loans too.

I don't like him as a coach but I won't disrespect him now he's gone. I wish him luck at a midtable team

I loathe the guy just as much as the next guy, but unless he throws the first rock, I'll prefer just trying to forget about him.

I actually think his style will do well at a lower club - and when you consider results alone, he did very well for someone who's first managerial jig was one of the biggest clubs in England. But clubs trying to survive won't care if he doesn't believe in defensive midfielders or that his mouth goes faster than his brain, as long as he reaches the magic 40 points while having Emmanuel Frimpong as your star player. :ROFLMAO:

I'm sure Timmy will say wonderful things once he has another Premier league job though! (y) I would change the thread title though; Tim's funny but doesn't deserve to be laughed at, and it seems a little mean-spirited.

I think in time he will become a very good manager

I disliked him more for his arrogance and ridiculous comments than for the results, which overall were not bad for a first timer

AVB got himself sacked by his tedious style of play and awful tactics, if Sherwood helped convince Levy the clown was hopelessly out of his depth and should be sacked then thank fuck he did

He got the England job on my Footy Manager save the other day and I actually laughed out loud at it.

From Tim:

The season starts on Saturday and already the Premier League has lost its first manager, in Tony Pulis. He did a brilliant job at Crystal Palace last season but modern management encompasses a lot more than just what happens on the pitch. I know that from my own experience.

I have no knowledge of what happened but if managers were only judged by what happened on the pitch I would like to think I would still be at Tottenham Hotspur.

He is learning
