They need new owners but if you ignore that option because obviously it's unlikely, what they need is a top notch DOF. Ask him to appoint a manager.

Who is their DOF? John Murtough? Isn't he from the women's team?

Their whole football structure is clueless.

The problem for them now is do they back ETH despite results? If this continues, does it become another De Boer moment? It makes it extremely difficult to stick with a unproven PL manager if they keep losing, but they should do.

Let's be honest this isn't Ten Hags fault not even in the slightest, squad of players are an embarrassment Ten Hag was a promising up and coming coach who's ruining his reputation just by being at United

Rangnick is much more of a DOF than a manager. He knew the problems there but they sacked him when he told them a few home truths.
He did okay for the Redbull financial doping teams, but that was about it. He has no record of being a decent DOF for any top tier team.

Yes, but no at the same time. He's being arrogant in his team selection, in the face of many, many who said it couldn't work.

How is starting a midfield three that he did today not ETH's fault? The club is a shit-show, that's not debatable, but so far, he's not making much of an advert for his qualities as a manager. Super early, though, but I doubt he'll survive it out of November.

I’m not sure Poch could sort this mess out without a decent DofF, especially considering we still can’t give give away his top two signings!

I agree, he's not getting the very basics right. In this league you earn the right to play, you don't just rock up and think you can pass around teams. He should be demanding that the players compete as a minimum and then slowly integrate his philosophy as the players get used to him, get more confident and he brings in some of his own players.

They were appalling last week and worse today yet he did nothing to change it. No passion, nothing. He just sat there like a beardless nuno!

You have to remember that this is a manager that sat and watched as we overturned a 3 goal lead and again did nothing.

He looks so out of his depth.
