Bit of a strange response to a player who is speaking out against abuse.
It depends on the abuse though surely? Racist abuse, homophobic abuse etc I totally understand but every player gets general abuse, it shouldn't happen but it does and always will, especially when they're on extremely high wages, not performing (not even trying) and making silly decisions, missing training for parties etc. The only person who can change that is Rashford by performing to a higher level, needs to stop walking around the pitch and stay off social media if it bothers him that much.

I think the response to online abuse is you should just get off social media is pretty disgusting.

Was trying to think of any United player I’d actually want that I think would improve us.

Currently drawing a blank.
I think Højlund will be an excellent 9 given some time. And Mainoo is an obvious huge talent.

There really aren't many others though.

Yeah but the article says they are two of the players they wouldn’t be willing to sell.

The Rashford of last season definitely would. Whether he can recapture and maintain that form is obviously a huge question mark, but he would have to be worthy of consideration if the financials were right. At worst he is a HG upgrade on Werner and at best he is the successor to Son that we’re desperate for. There aren’t many wide players capable of registering a 30 goal season.

I'd somehow forgotten about those two but but Christ, what have Man U become that we'd only take a young striker and a youth product who only broke through recently...out of their entire first team squad!

How.much did the spend assembling that squad? And how much do they pay on wages?
Marathon Jim really does have his work cut out there.

Mainoo looks like he could to go on to be a top player. Højlund would be an ideal centre forward and for me Garnacho would be an excellent winger for us.

Great opportunity for Rashford to get out of the cesspit he’s currently in, get his head down and start looking like he still wants to play football.
That’s if he wants it though, I think a change of scenery would do him wonders, might hurt his bank balance though.

If theyre selling most of the squad ETH is Def off a lot of the players are his picks
It would seem that way but this is a weird thing to come out with now.
I reckon they'll struggle to find buyers though, especially with the high wages they've given out to these players.

I'm not sure about Rashford. He's had patches where he has looked brilliant but then has longer spells where he looks average. I think he's a good finisher but he's incredibly greedy and I'm not sure he'd last long here doing that.

Its funny cause they had to exactly the same thing when Ten Hag walked through the door.

They were going to let him have his players and rebuild the squad.

But the amateurs that they are overpaid for pretty much everyone and handed out big salaries to anyone who played half decent.
