Anyone else think Sky will make sure the Scousers and the Mancs will be kept apart in the semi-finals?

If there is even one good reason for using square balls in the draw other than to allow it to be fiddled more easily, I would like to hear it.

I only actually just watched the draw and realised that they have changed to round balls! Good decision imo, Souness had given the game away with the square balls trick.

Not saying I think it was a fixed draw, but seeing as it's been suggested I can see a couple of ways it could have been done.

One would be that the balls actually have two numbers on, one on each side. Mcleish especially acts a bit weird when concealing the ball he has just drawn each time, for no real reason.

1 = Hull, 2 = Liverpool, 3 = Southampton, 4 = United. It would be really easy to set up:

Ball A and Ball B would be printed with 1 & 2

Ball C and Ball D would be printed with 3 & 4

Randomly picking effectively leaves you with 3 possibilities.

1. You pick a 1&2 ball twice in row (Hull play Liverpool, and you are left with the two 3&4 balls, Southampton v United.)
2. You pick a 3&4 ball twice in a row (Southampton play United, and you are left with the two 1&2 balls, Hull vs Liverpool)
3. You pick one of each. (Hull play United and Southampton play Liverpool.)

Not saying that's likely, but it would at least explain the way Mcleish and Morrison consistently obscure the whole ball from our view, seem to be overly meticulous in handling them, and also share a moment once the first pair of balls have been drawn.

Why can't they use a machine like they do for the lottery?

Whourinho didn't look happy in the TV interview and apparently walked out of the post match press conference after one question :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Please let him be losing it!

Was listening to Absolute radio today. DJ gave an update, "Dull game so far, pretty much what you'd expect from a mid table clash"

Rojo should have been sent off too for a dreadful 2 footed tackle. If the Ref saw it properly it's a straight red.

Fellaini is an appalling footballer. He's just huge. He also elbows opponents virtually every time he jumps for a header.
