I was really interested in how he would cope being on a bad run like the chavs have. This is what makes a manager, how you get yourself out of these kind of situations. Most of the time managers dont have the luxury of time but he got a lot and he blew it.

It's funny he is the polar opposite to Harry Rednapp.

He's had the worst season of his career, no doubt about that.

He's a top manager, no doubt about that either. And he'll bounce back. Probably sooner rather than later.

But we already have a manager doing well for us, who's brought a good ethos to the club and is hopefully building something.

Mourinho has never stuck around anywhere he's been. He delivers in the short term but everything comes to a head eventually.

Could he win the league with us? It's by no means impossible. And if we were looking for a manager and he wanted to come, then it would be worth doing for that reason. But it isn't the right time.

Love Poch but for too long, we've been bridesmaids.

I believe Jose with our squad would get us into the Top 4 comfortably and put in a challenge for the league.

If he can't make a team that has a wage bill 4 times as much as ours, and a team worth 6 times as much as ours perform then why would we want that shit bag?

Bring back AVB and Jose as the dynamic duo.

Sign Moutinio, Hulk, Lampard and Drogba Jan 1st.

What could possibly go wrong?

I wouldn't want that classless, arrogant twat anywhere near my beloved club.

His football is shite. He talks complete and utter bollocks like its a damn chore. He alienates his squads eventually and he never gives youth a chance.

How about....no.

Weird thread is weird.

WTF x 1000!

Mourinho needs a transfer budget of £100million plus to do anything and seemingly then fucks off after two years of fun. He's never getting that at Spurs and quite frankly I wouldn't want us to go down that route even if we could and it meant buying a few trophies.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?

Worst thread 2015 award goes to.......

Just seen this on Paddy Power's Facebook page.

Jose Mourinho's 3 year plan:

1) Buy the bus
2) Park the bus
3) Crash the bus.

hes now a money grabbing joke

What a spectacularly gash thread.

All of the above.

Not just classless, but I think there are some genuine mental health issues with him that are only going to escalate: look at the treatment meted out at his medical staff. It was totally irrational but supported by his shitty club because they were used to indulging him.

not worth the gamble. Poch is a very decent guy and a good manager. His philosophy matches the clubs perfectly.
I'm not sure his philosophy does match ours so to speak. I think he has changed our philosophy. We were a flash in a pan side for a number of years. Always considered a team with a soft centre. Even in our most successful Premier League days under Harry teams always felt they could get at us because we were so open. Poch has made us a hard working team with a never say die attitude. He's transformed the mentality of the team from what it was.

Every player works hard without any exception. We've always had players in the past who would stroll about and not track back. That's not to be over critical mind because some of our best players were like that (Berbatov, Ginola, Bale). However this team is a young developing side who have bought into Pochettino and his methods. I think Jose would do great with a young team like ours. However they would not be as adventurous.

The biggest problem with Jose is that his team would not be entertaining enough. Would he encourage players like Dele Ali to get forward or would he make him more restrictive? Would he be happy to see the centre backs come out of defence? I think that's what you mean by his philosophy matching ours. We've maintained that level of exciting football always looking to get forward when we can and score goals. We still lack that bit of cutting edge in the final third as has shown in recent weeks but that side of our game matches well with Pochettino. It is however the mental strength that saw us go 14 League games unbeaten that has transformed the team. For that reason we should not even entertain the idea of a new manager and hopefully that will be the case for a long time.

He has been doing a better job helping us out by managing Chelsea into their current slump than any short term work he could have done at Spurs. If Chelsea had been performing this year, and so had the current top 4 including Leicester, we could quite possibly be 6th...
