Agreed. Especially if his wages are £80k/week as reported. He could have easily got almost double that at Man Utd or Chelsea and being regularly contending for the Champions League.

the difference is that we have Luka until he is 30 now, so if things turn sour (which im 99.9*% sure they wont) we have a whole lot more control over the situation and the ability to choose which clubs we look to sell him to, so no1 in the EPL.

Berbatov was 2 years into a 6 year contract when we sold him.

It was Stephen Kelly who we sold a few days after extending his contract (because we had a discretionary extension, so used it to up his fee).

Amazing stuff, for Levy to do this means I 110% believe that the likes of Man Utd, Chelsea, and Madrid have made enquiries.

This is great news, and the wages shows that Levy is now happy to change the wage structure to cater to CL Football.

Im so happy right now, I was so ready for us to sell Modric because we never seem to keep a hold of our true world class players.
